KETT Company History

Kett Electric Laboratory, founded in 1946 in Sapporo, Japan, began by developing wood moisture testers. The “KETT” trademark was introduced in 1947, and the company was renamed in 1961, launching the iconic Riceter analyzer. It expanded rapidly through the 1970s–90s, gained ISO9001 certification in 1998, and celebrated its 70th anniversary in 2016. Today, Kett is a global leader in precision moisture, coating, and composition analyzers.
